People with a square face look best in oval shaped or round glasses.If your face is wider at the top a smaller style of frame will look best, with low sides and either rounded or square. Styles with decoration at the temples or ones which are wider at the top than the bottom will do more to draw attention to your face shape than balance it out. Wider styles suit those with wider foreheads, full cheeks and a rounded face.Small rounded styles and any large frames should be avoided as they will only make your face look more round.
Oval Faces with a wide forehead, gently curving jaw and high cheekbone will suit pretty well any style, so your choice is virtually unlimited.A long face with high cheekbones and a deep forehead will look good with wider glasses that have a stronger top line. A larger, square frame will help ‘balance’ a long oval face, although you should avoid small square shapes. Bold, bright designs will suit you if your face widens at the jaw, but narrower frames will not look so good.
