Are Men Taking Over From Women in the Jewellery Department?
Jewellery can be such a fashion statement and can certainly make or break an outfit.
It’s not only women who wear jewellery nowadays. Men’s jewellery seems to be just as important in today’s society. I still find it strange that men are wearing jewellery, and wearing it so well.It might not be a long way away before they begin to out do women in the fashion stakes.
There are lots of male celebrities who look pretty decent in their jewellery.
A man well known to us all for his ever changing fashion sense is David Beckham. He manages to style his jewellery with his look and does it very well. It’s not unusual to see Mr Beckham wearing silver necklaces and silver rings. Even though he sometimes comes across as a bit effeminate, it doesn’t seem to bother him, so why should we mind?
Another famous celebrity who likes his jewellery is Russell Brand. He has such a unique style all of his own which really works well for him. I wonder if his style will change now that he has just got engaged to American singer Katy Perry. I wonder if she will try to have a go at taming his personality and outrageous image – I shouldn’t think for one moment she will be successful.
Johnny Depp is definitely my favourite jewellery wearing male. It doesn’t seem to matter what he wears, how he wears it, what sort of style he is following, he always looks great.He has a charm and wonderful personality that would be difficult to duplicate. I cannot picture a man looking finer than our Johnny Depp and I am sure many of you will be in agreement with me.
At the other end of the ladder you have the male stars who wear all this massive chunky rapper styled jewellery. I think it looks ugly and stupid and it must weigh a tonne. My daughter is absolutely into ‘Chipmunk’ at the moment. I thought she meant Alvin and the Chipmunks, but no I am out of date and she was talking about the new young rapper. Unfortunately the style that this young hooligan follows says it all about what is going wrong with today’s society. If this is the future of Britain – God Help Us All.
