The Thing That Makes Tabletop Exhibits Productive
Clearly, if a company is newly started or is a well known company that is launching a new product, then there is a great need to advertise effectively. However, if a company’s products are already popular among people, then there is no need to advertise or market their products - unless they want to increase sales or fight off other competitors?! Marketing and advertising are required for all companies, big and small - even successful companies like Google, Boeing, and Microsoft are always out there, promoting and marketing their products. Publish or Perish is the maxim that rules academia, colleges and universities.The business world equivalent is grow or perish. Companies that don't focus on growing and improving their products and processes will be overtaken by new products and new competitors. Large trade shows like the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) or the Farnborough Air Show are clearly important events in those industries. However, these large shows only occur once or twice a year - not all important marketing opportunities occur at large trade shows. It is very important that successful businesses are ready to take advantage of all of the small networking and meeting opportunities too.
Thus, there is a special niche for business presentation tools that are extremely lightweight and portable - briefcase size, sometimes. Salespeople can enter small meetings, and at the slightest opportunity, open their briefcase table top display boards and make a presentation. Or they can attend the 3-4 hour chamber of commerce meeting every month with a small table top display that attracts attention. This is the reason table top displays are as popular as they are - there are literally dozens and dozens of opportunities to use them every year!
Depending on the purpose of the display, you can pick out various designs to accomplish your task. Many companies use tabletop displays, selecting from a wide range of prices and designs. Tabletop displays can range from briefcase sized folding display boards that only cost a few hundred dollars to much more elaborate, 6ft tall, dye sub printed displays with lights and graphics that can cost a few thousand dollars- clearly, the small ones and the larger units are designed for different purposes.
These small size, ultra-lightweight displays set up very quickly, making them ideal for table top presentations. These displays are mainly placed at waist height on a table that is also covered by a professionally printed table cover. Thus when the display is placed on tables in a conference or meeting presentation, people will easily see the company logo and slogan on the table throw, and see the product information and other graphics above the table, on the display. People viewing the presentation may be standing up, looking at the display, or also seated comfortably, and still able to read the message on the display.
Table top displays and their smaller cousins, folding display boards, are easily the most effective way to handle the impromptu and small scale business meetings that happen almost every day.
